Arithmetic Progression (AP) is a sequence of numbers where each term after the first is foun by adding a fixed number, called the common difference, to the preceding term. This sequence of numbers is known as the terms of the progression. For example, if the common difference is 2, then the sequence would be 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, etc.
An arithmetic progression (AP) is a sequence of numbers in which each new number is found by adding a fixed number, called the common difference, to the previous number in the sequence. The common difference can be a positive or negative number and can be constant or variable. The formula for the nth term of an AP is given by:
a_n = a_1 + (n - 1)d
where a_1 is the first term and d is the common difference.
