Surface Areas And Volumes
The surface area of a three-dimensional object is the total area of the faces of the object. The volume of a three-dimensional object is the measure of the amount of space it occupies.
The surface area and volume of a cube, for example, can be calculated using the following formulas:
Surface Area of a Cube = 6 * (Side Length)^2
Volume of a Cube = (Side Length)^3
The surface area and volume of a sphere, on the other hand, can be calculated using the following formulas:
Surface Area of a Sphere = 4 * pi * (Radius)^2
Volume of a Sphere = 4/3 * pi * (Radius)^3
